Germany is a global powerhouse for engineering and technology. Public universities offer world-class education with no tuition fees, making it the most cost-effective destination for high-quality degrees.
For Indian students, the APS (Academic Evaluation Centre) certificate is mandatory for a student visa. It verifies your academic documents and is required before applying to universities.
To secure a visa, you must deposit approx €11,904 into a German blocked account. This money is released monthly to cover your living expenses while studying.
Public universities are tuition-free but highly competitive. Private universities charge fees but often offer more flexible admission criteria and intensive career support.
Once you have an admission letter and Blocked Account, apply for a National Visa (Type D). Processing time is usually 4-8 weeks via VFS Global.
