Upon arrival in China, students must apply for a Residence Permit within 30 days. This allows multiple entries into the country and legal stay for the duration of the degree.
The Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC) and Provincial Scholarships offer full or partial funding for Indian students with high academic merit (usually above 75-80%).
Current laws permit international students to engage in part-time jobs or internships off-campus, provided they obtain approval from their university and the local entry-exit bureau.
